These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your attendance and participation in Festival Macumba (“Festival”) held on July 19th, 2025, at De Ven in Spaarnwoude, The Netherlands (“Event Location”). By purchasing tickets, entering the Event Location, or attending the Festival, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with updates posted on the official Festival website. Please review these Terms and Conditions periodically.
1. General Information
Festival Macumba is a music event organized by RAIS64 B.V. (“Organizer”). The event will take place on July 19th, 2025, at De Ven in Spaarnwoude, The Netherlands.
2. Ticket Purchase and Entry
- Ticket Types: Tickets for Festival Macumba are available in various categories. Ticket prices, availability, and categories may be subject to change.
- Valid Ticket Required: You must present a valid ticket at the entrance to gain access to the event. Entry will not be permitted without a valid ticket.
- Non-Refundable: Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled by the Organizer. Refunds will not be issued for missed events, inclement weather, or personal circumstances.
- Age Restrictions: Festival Macumba is an 18+ event. You must be able to present your ID at the entrance in order gain access to the event. Entry will not be permitted without a valid, physical ID and tickets will not be refunded when not complying to this age restriction.
3. Conduct and Behavior
- Respect for Others: You agree to behave in a respectful manner toward other festival-goers, staff, artists, and volunteers. Any aggressive or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Event Location without a refund.
- Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited at Festival Macumba:
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons, explosives, or sharp objects
- Glass containers or bottles
- Professional recording equipment (unless authorized)
- Animals (except service animals)
- Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by festival staff
- Searches: Upon entry, you may be subject to security searches, including bag checks, metal detectors, or body scans. Refusal to cooperate may result in denied entry to the event.
4. Health and Safety
- Health Regulations: By attending Festival Macumba, you agree to comply with any applicable health and safety guidelines.
- Emergency Services: On-site medical and emergency services will be available. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of staff and security personnel.
5. Liability and Assumption of Risk
- Personal Injury and Property Damage: By attending the Festival, you acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in large public events. The Organizer is not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage to property, or theft that may occur during the event.
- Force Majeure: The Organizer is not responsible for any event delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., weather, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or governmental regulations).
6. Photography, Filming, and Media
- Use of Likeness: By attending Festival Macumba, you grant the Organizer the right to capture and use photographs, videos, and audio recordings of you during the event for promotional, marketing, or other commercial purposes. You waive any claims related to the use of your image or voice in such materials.
- Personal Photography: Personal photography and video recording are allowed for non-commercial use only. Professional photography, filming, or drone usage is prohibited without prior authorization from the Organizer.
7. Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking
- Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol may be consumed in the public areas of the Festival, and attendees must be of legal drinking age (18 years or older) to purchase or consume alcohol at the festival.
- Drug Use: The use of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the event and possible legal action.
- Smoking: Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Please respect all no-smoking zones.
8. Cancellation or Modification of the Event
- Event Changes: The Organizer reserves the right to change the event schedule, lineup, or location due to unforeseen circumstances. These changes will be communicated through official channels, and ticket holders will be notified.
- Cancellation: If the Festival is canceled, ticket holders will be eligible for a refund, minus any processing fees. Refund policies will be communicated based on the situation.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal Data: The Organizer collects personal data (such as name, email, etc.) to process ticket sales and communicate event-related information. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with the Organizer’s privacy policy.
- Third-Party Services: The Festival may use third-party services for ticketing, food and beverage sales, or merchandise. These services may collect and process your personal data independently, and you should refer to their privacy policies for more information.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in the courts of The Netherlands.
